Supporting charity workers through pro bono training
Providing skills and support to help charity professionals thrive, both at work and in their personal lives.
About Us
Learning for Good was established in 2024 by Emma Niven. It provides a range of pro-bono training for people who work for charities. The training covers topics that can help all individuals in their life at work and at home. We are proud to work with a number of wonderful charities by offering training support to their people. We work closely with our clients, aiming to become a consistent and long-term part of their training provision. We hope to build a relationship with each charity, getting to understand them, their people, and their needs over time.
Our Training
All of our training sessions (see below) are designed on a modular basis. Any session can be attended as a stand-alone session or an individual can choose to attend, and hopefully get value from, them all. They can be attended in any order.
Training is run in groups of 16-20 people. It is designed to be interactive and to encourage all participants to share their experiences and thoughts with each other. All training is carried out in person rather than in a virtual environment.
Training is valuable for both junior and senior members of an organisation. We find that all attendees benefit from the variety of perspectives and organisations can see their staff develop common frameworks and language.
Training sessions are run on a Friday.
